As you are a leader in a national organization dedicated to solving problems and improving lives, you are very aware of worsening challenges in quanity and quality. As is, many band-aid re-actions merely treat the symptoms of the social and economic diseases. Even worse is the corruption tolerated or encouraged by public officials, e.g., one small group stop $250 million in Covid spending.
We are victims of a synergistic, accelerating existential meltdown of our problem-solving infrastructure. The elephant in the room is not helping prevent the collapse of our problem-solving institutions: Climate Change. There many contributing factors to rising inflation but the primary cause is the destruction by drought, fire and flood of the foodchain. Less food and more mouths means unrelenting inflation.

Since leaving academic, I have spent most of my waking hours developing new perspectives and solutions within an integrated system of explanation, that is, Timism: The Morality of More Time.
