The following plaque was made after my wife's 2003 heart surgery and is a truism for both Timism and me. Without her, Timism would be nothing. Without her, Timism would not even be a vision let alone a needed, shovel-ready reality to improve our democracy to fight climate change.
Crowdfunding Cathy offers you an opportunity to promote a good cause and to reward a worthy person. In addition, you will reap direct and indirect rewards like no other crowdfunding effort: a 25-to-1 return on money with a parallel bonus in lifehour credits. For each donated dollar, you receive one lifehour worth an eventual market value of $25.
A Good Cause
The good cause is the Primary Moral Imperative of saving life on Planet Earth from climate hell. This writer first wrote on climate change in 1982 predicting worsening droughts with downwind deluges and flooding. Since then numerous essays have been summarized in Carbon Dioxide: The Global, Multi-Tasking Killer Molecule. This good cause involves numerous internet tools to promote the needed better democracy and better capitalism.
Capitalism is a victim of identity theft. Wall Street hijacked the terms and tools of capitalism to decapitalize America and decapitate jobs. America's economic system is Decapitalism: Economic Bloodshed.
Capitalism unfairly gets a bad rap. It is nowhere near the law offices, equity funds, hedge funds and trading floors where the American Dream became a human nightmare of lost jobs, lost pensions and lost hope. True capitalism rewards the profit-creators, not the profit-takers.
The worsening human nightmare has fueled the drug crisis and political extremism among disenchanted middle-class workers. 401ks are the biggest bank robbery in history. Since their inception, the middle-class has lost 90% of their retirement pensions, savings and beneftis. Without better democracy and capitalism thru brainbees and lifehours, life on earth will not be saved.
A Worthy Person
When this writer's nestegg expired in the early 2000s, Cathy picked up the costs of research and development. The monthly costs varied between $1000 and $2000 depending on the use of programming subcontractors. Altogether, she has probably paid out nearly $200,000 in the last 15 years. She has had the deficit of a husband obsessed on reversing climate change who would have other wised generated seven-figures in income.
Though youthful in appearance, Cathy is no spring chicken having been born in 1950. In her 69th year, she is weekly working to pay the on-going costs of Timism. In July, 2019, she broke a rib at work as a broken high pressure hose caused her to injure herself. She took off only two days before returning to work because of Timism's financial needs. One day at home, she was lying on the floor on her side, telling me it was the least painful position.
For several weeks, as a dental hygienist, she worked with the decreasing pain of the broken rib as it healed. I knew she was in pain since she forwent her normal morning massage because of the pain. She sleeps with a strap device to minimize developing painful hand and wrist movement.
In some ways, Cathy is a medical basket-case. Her 2003 heart surgery went terribly wrong as indicated in the time and cost. Not five days and $65,000 but four months and $330,000. The engraver of her medical bracelet said he was only charging for the bracelet, not for the engraving fee because of all the listed complications. In 2014, she fell and broke her heel causing her now to walk with a limp. Despite these challenges, she continued to support Timism, giving up retirement and traveling for a cause bigger than herself.
If crowdfunding is successful, it will be possible to pay off off the credit card debt accumulated to fund Timism, she will retire. If you have ever crowdfunded someone with a medical condition and/or a great idea, Cathy is a worthy candidate. She has, if you pause and pondered, worked into her retirement years to fund an effort to help you have a better future. And, I will be able to focus better on Timism in amount and quality of time.
Your donation to Cathy's crowdfunding is a super two-fer, that is, you not only receive both lifehour warrants and credits, but your donation of one dollar yields a lifehour warrant and credit. Lifehour warrants are repaid from Timism's cashflow via a FIFO. Lifehour credits are tradeable and eventually valid for payment of taxes, healthcare and loans. And, what is one's true, existential worth and substance? The content of character as a time-saving, time-creating problem-solver.
Eventually, with a new political party based on better democracy (Timists) gaining legislative majority, lifehour credits will legit for paying loans, healthcare and taxes. After the lifehour warrants have been retired, monthly dutch auctions akin to Treasury Department sale of bonds will be conducted by which lifehour credits can be traded for cash via Paypal transfers.
Your donation will help fulfill the Primary Moral Imperative of saving life on Planet Earth from climate collapse. You will help promote better democracy(brainbees) and better capitalism (lifehours). Brainbees are the super-highway to government of, by, and for the people. Lifehours a living currency to replace the dying dollar as a problem-solving tool of commerce.
Your donation will help promote public awareness of 24in4:
We not only can have but must have 24in4 if we are to fulfill the Primary Moral Imperative per
Please help one-and-all by crowdfunding Cathy's earned and deserved freedom from debt and pain.
