Get the Lead Out: A Climate Cancer

   1. Climate Lemmings: The average human who is igknowantly guilty of massive CO2-sins against a resentful and revengeful Mother Nature.
   2. Climate Criminals:  Pseudo humans who organize and encourage climate lemmings.
   3. Climate Cancers: Institutional infrastructure organizing and encouraging climate criminals
3. The CO2 cost of humanity to Mother Nature has two parts.
   1. Cost of living: The CO2 generated for producing the needs to live.
   2. Cost of lying: The CO2 waste from unneeded or inefficient human activity, e.g., habitual politicians or habitual play.
4. On a sinking ship:
   1. Apathy is suicide.
   2. Cheerleading play is homicide, and
   3. Preaching igknowance is genocide.

In the U.S., the Environmental Protection Agency has initiated a national campaign to get lead out of water pipes. This campaign is a climate cancer. It involves taxes paying contractors to dig up and replace the lead pipes.

Consider the following historical fact of houses with lead pipes. The homes are very old. The pipes were not installed using expensive hydraulic equipment. They were installed using an inexpensive trench shovel to dig the trench.The simplest inexpensive and environmentally-friendly "get the lead out" program would be as follows:

1. Give each homeowner/renter a shovel to dig up the pipe. It is not that hard.
2. Give 7 days in which to expose the pipe for replacement (an online-video can teach).
3. Use qualified volunteers (for their Timism Community Service healthcare benefits) will replace the lead pipe in two hours or less.
4. Use postal routes to distribute the shovels to residences. This will provide short hops to jobs rather than greater CO2-cost from hop-scotching from here-to-there.

Benefits of a shovel plan:

1. The most important benefit is reducing CO2-sinning against Mother Nature. The simplest way to slow climate hell is to reduce discretionary spending. A homeless person is less of a CO2-sinner than a jobhog who works two jobs for a bigger house and a bigger gas-guzzler.

2. Save tax dollars.

3. Stimulate healthy exercise for the homeowner or renter.

Municipal lead pipe replacement costs (Google)

Columbus, OH: Launched a 10-year, $10 billion program (supported by federal/state grants) to replace 50,000–60,000 lines, with zero cost to homeowners in the pilot phase. New York State: Announced nearly $66 million in 2025 awards for various cities, including $14M each for Rochester, Poughkeepsie, and areas in NYC. Washington, D.C.: Allocated $8.5 million in FY22 for full lead pipe replacement, covering private property costs. Quincy, MA: Replaced 206 lines at an average construction cost of $6,860 per line. Rockford, IL: Received $4 million in Illinois EPA principal forgiveness funding for replacements. Total National Cost(Google) Replacing all lead pipes in the U.S. is estimated to cost between $40 billion and $90 billion. [These billions are unnecessary CO2-sins against Mother Nature for which we will pay far greater penalities than the slow harm of lead pipes: Her revenge of house- and job-destroying fires, floods, hurricanes and tornados]. State governors could save tax-dollars by issuing an executive order requiring Timism's KISS shovel approach to get the lead out.s

Penalties:

1. Structure occupant who do not take a few hours to dig up the pipe within seven days will be de-electrified until the trench is dug with an additional 7 days of no electricity.
2. City or county public utility managers who chose CO2-sinning over Timism simple solution will be sentenced to five years of day labor.
