Weatherheads: Be Damned, Denied, Banned and Minimized
In 1982, Jim Duncan, a weatherhead at the Richmond, Virginia, NBC station(WWBT), was given "Oil Droughts" which predicted that rising atmospheric levels of CO2 would cause droughts and floods. It stated the more immediate impact of climate change would not be global warming but global drying and flooding. The latter would destroy the food chain causing economic, social and politial chaos as has been accelerating each year. Several months later I received a reply in which Duncan wrote that he deferred sharing the essay's content with the public because "others here at the station feel that it does not merit coverage.".
Other weatherhead efforts:
Imagine how different the world would be if these weatherheads had opened our minds to CO2: The Global, Multi-Tasking Killer Molecule. Weatherheads failed to educate the public because of the personal greed of a weekly paycheck. They have denied increasing numbers future paychecks.
