Lifehours from Emails: GoFundMe versus Chain Letter for Democracy

A supporter of Timism's reforms can receive two kinds of emails that can be forwarded for Lifehour credits.

  1. GoFundMe's "Thank you" note in response to making a GoFundMe donation.
    1. Click Forward on Thank you note
    2. Insert GFM@timism.org into the "To:" field.
    3. Inserts one's natiional two-letter code at the start of the Subject line.
    4. Click "Send".
      One will receive national lifehours based the donation being divided by the national lifehour value.
  2. Chain Letter for Democracy One should have created two email groups: Timists and CC.
    1. Click Forward on received Chain Letter.
    2. Insert the Ten Friends group into the "To" field. (The Ten Friends group must include ChainLetter@timism.org at the beginning.)
    3. Insert the CC media group into the "CC" field.
    4. Inserts one's natiional two-letter code at the start of the Subject line..
    5. Click "Send".
      One will receive a lifehour for each recipient of the Chain Letter (a max of ten).

Initially due to a lack of support staff, the emails forwarded to Timism.org are stored pending "batch" processing. When processed, one will receive a receipt for the donation.
