Day Labor Punishment for White Collar Crime

White Collar Crime: Day Labor--no Country Clubs ... day labor ... blind trust ... day labor: invariably, the white collar crimes involve stealing from ... no support from family. Must live off of income ... adjust homelife accordingly. After a few execs are convicted and sentenced to day labor for ten years, there will be less white collar crime ... if disappear, closes gender relative serves out sentence.

The focus of Timism is the Primary Moral Imperative of saving Life on Planet Earth from Climate Hell. In general, this means reducing the generation of unnecessary CO2. The proposed weekly Re-Time/De-Time brainbee will have voters prioritizing the shared sacrifices to stop climate change. These brainbees will let people on a global scale legislate and legitimize the reform or elimination of unneeded activities that contributing to climate hell.

One area of human activity that can have a smaller CO2 footprint is punishment for wrongful actions, e.g., breaking laws. For minor offenses, De-Electification has been proposed. Minor offenses that might require a period of incarceraton is replaced by removing the electricity supply from the offender's home. De-electrification is cheaper than incarceraton.

White-collar crimes require a punishment with a lower CO2 footprint. As is, many white-collar criminals are sentenced to so-called "country club" prisons that have pleasant social amentities but no fences. Most white-collar crimes involve non-violent theft. Since all theft involves the victim's time in buying what was stolen, incarceration is a tit-for-tat. But, incarceration is also taxpayers' time being appropriated.

Day Labor Indentured Servitude is Constitutional: The 13th Amendment to the United States Constitution, ratified in 1865, abolished slavery and involuntary servitude, with the exception of punishment for a crime after due conviction. (Googled "13th Amendment")

A simple, environmentlly friendly punishment is "Day Labor Indenture" servitude. The convict is sentenced to a period of time (months or years) to daily showing up at a labor pool. During this servitude, all financial assets are frozen, that is, denied to the convict. Like the ripped-off citizens, the criminal will have to live with less. Poetic justice: Let the white-collar thieves suffer the same fate as their victims in having a lower the standard-of-living.

Of course, the biggest thieves won't legislates Day Labor Indentitude: Habitual Politicians.

Corrupt habitual politicians have numerous IOUs, both ancient and current. As a consequence, they legislate opinion laws which are private laws instead of conclusive laws for solving problems. Opinion or privilege laws are the worse source of rising costs-of-living: Privilege Inflation.

The only thing worse than not voting is voting for a habitual politician because one is then voting for habitual problems.
