Greetings,

In the next several days before the November 3 elections, I will be driving around the state stopping at newspapers with a poster to protest the following:

71% of Virginia Delegates have no opposition and
50% of Virginia Senators have no opposition..

The poster will ask newspapers to encourage voters to write-in the name of their school superintendents for unopposed incumbents (newspapers supply the superintendents' name for local elective office). We need redistricting based on economic benefits not election monopolies.

School superintendents have not been consulted for this drafting of them. An attempt was made via email to encourage school superintendents (130), school principals (1000+) and the VEA to encourage educators to create a full slate of educators (140) as write-in candidates--see 24in4.com. The response was unbelievably null. I am intellectually outraged by both the incumbents free ride and the educators' nullness. (There must be a state-wide conspiracy to make me feel like Don Quixote!)

My protest drive around the state will have a secondary purpose. I may run for Congress in 2016 with my main foci being global warming and middle-class demise--www.BarnettForCongress.org. I wrote my first essay on climate change in in 1982. The death of the middle class is due to Wall Street hijacking the terms and tools of capitalism to cause bankruptcy and unemployment, that is, decapitalize production and decapitate jobs. Capitalism is not failing: Wall is practicing decapitalism.

I am hoping one of the top 20 newspapers will take up a climate change challenge. Based on my numeorus and various essays reflecting work in the underlying fields (resume and achievements), I hope to initiate and assist in a 10-part series titled "Carbon Dioxide: The Global Multi-Tasking Killer Molecule." (YouTube Vid, 4 minutes.) My website lists most of the essays to be integrated into this series. Ideally, the newspaper would assign one reporter to each article--tentative outline. As I am quick to say, my choice of words (while reflecting great knowledge) is guilty of bad bedside vocabulary. When I spend an hour in front of your headquarters with my protest signage, please feel free to ask about any topic.

I am against the Atlantic Coast Pipeline because it will cause California droughts, fires and floods by it increase our CO2 sinning agains Mother Nature--see SaveAtlanticCoastLine.com

Hope to see you in the next few days.

Sincerely,

Bob Barnett
