24-in-4:
By better employing our human potential,
we can have a 24-hour workweek in 4 years
with more disposable funds and fun
for self, family, and community
in a safer, saner world.

With 24-in-4, teachers will have flipflop 4-day workweeks MTWT and TWTF yielding monthly two 4-day weekends. School days would start by citizens fulfilling their HCS as teacher assistants, many would be parents of the students. The Fridays-Mondays of teachers four-day weekends will be field and tests days conducted by HCS volunteers. Teachers will also preside over highly trained volunteer tutors as classroom assistants.

Virginians, let us initiate political and economic reform by a last-minute effort for a full-slate of write-in candidates for the 2015 Virginia elections to oppose the habitual politicians, especially the unopposed incumbents.

  1. Of the General Assembly, "In 71 of the 100 districts up for election in 2015, there is only one major party candidate running for election ... a total of 27 Democrats and 44 Republicans are guaranteed election barring unforeseen circumstances"--that is 71%
  2. Of the Senate, "In 20 of the 40 districts up for election in 2015 ... a total of 10 Democrats and 10 Republicans are guaranteed election barring unforeseen circumstances"--that is 50%!

Let us be the "unforeseen circumstances!" Let us stop the habitual politicians agreeing among themselves to divide up Virginia: Political redistricting is like habitual criminals dividing up a neighborhood for future drug turf monopolies.

Have you said, "Throw the bums out!" Now, you can. For no cost, be a charter member of the "Write-in Party" to protest the political parties obsessed only with their re-election addiction. The best government is the least government if we better self-govern.

We not only need new faces for old problems but for new, bigger problems: Climate Change and Middle-Class Demise. In times of worsening habitual problems, the only thing worse than not voting is voting for habitual politicians.

If this zero-cost campaign succeeds, on Monday, November 2, a list of all 40 Senate and 100 Assembly write-in candidates will be published in major state newspapers--list. You will receive an email with your districts' write-in candidates' names. With the 2016 Presidential race favoring outsiders and with David Brat defeating Eric Cantor, many voters will make a special anti-incumbent trip to the polls to vote for write-in names. Hidden benefits are barter unit credits acknowledging your write-in help (Lifehour credits). A few minutes could save you more money than any single act in your life. If we can shop and work from home, let us use the internet to govern from home--see Citizen Legislation.

When politicians legislate good policies then the polity in the polis will be polite and polished without police.

Please note that this writer is a candidate for the 16th Senate District with a platform for Virginia as well as for a possible 2016 US Congressional campaign--see BarnettForCongress.org. My program for saving the middle-class is simple, obvious and necessary. Without saving the middle-class, we won't be able to solve any major problem, e.g., climate change. One specific concern is Dominion Powers Atlantic Coast Pipeline--see SaveAtlanticCoastLine.com.

Please note this is a trial run for 2016 in which enhanced tools of timism (Super Brainbee) will be used to find and champion 24-in-4 candidates for all public elections in all states and municipalities. 24in4 is the way to save the middle-class from which we can then save life on earth, the Primary Moral Imperative.
