5 Lanes to 1 Lane: The Absurd Climate Crime on Forest Hill Avenue
At the intersection of Semmes, Dundee and Forest Hill, Forest Hill Avenue is five lanes wide. The proposed traffic plan will reduce the five lanes between the bike shop and convenience store to one lane as shown in the following photos.

Below are aireal views of current and proposed traffic patterns. Notice how Forest Hill is reduced to one east-bound lane. West-bound traffic is blocked and must turn at 34th in order to go west on Forest Hill Avenue. This lane reduction will cause immense head-aches drivers wanting to use Dundee Avenue.

Summary: Simple, straight-forward driving will be complicated for all drivers, not the commuting workers. Because navigating Semmes, Dundee and Forest Hill Avenue will require more driving and gas |
Please note how the 34 block of Forest Hill is five lanes wide. Furthermore, both sides have ample sidewalk for better parking. Consider the last image of a truck By reducing the sidewalk to the nominal width, there is enough space for diagonal parking. and at least two lanes of traffic.
