Both stocks and currency have divorced symbols from substance and wealth
from worth . Of stocks, the most egregious example is
401k's:
The Biggest Bank Robbery in History. Corporate insiders print mountains
of stock to sell into pensions as stock options or
IPOs. Nations play currency
games to artificially inflate their currency.
Timism's "lifehour" is a unit of value to reflect its real time value as a time-saving problem-solving tool. Too often people are deluded by funny numbers on funny paper, e.g., "I make four times more than my grandfather." But our grandfathers did not need grandma to work. And, he was able to comfortably retire at earlier age than funny number fools. One can determine the real value of one's lifehour as a person or a nation. Determine the hours that one works for life's daily needs and divide the hours into the 24-hour day. If one only works one hour, one's lifehour value is 24. If 8 hours, the lifehour is 3. If 12 hours, the lifehour is 2. Would you rather live in an economy where everyone is a daily billionaire but must work 16 hours to afford life's necessities (Zimbabwe)? Or, work in an economy with dollar-an-hour wages where bread costs ten cents a loaf and hamburger costs thirty cents a pound? The real inflation is the cheapening of our time as we must work more for less, a cheapening reflected in inflation's semantic cousins: flattery and flatulence. Lifehours transcend the boundaries of nations and centuries. The real cost of anything, anywhere and anytime is the lifehours one works to buy the item thru barter or symbols. The real cost is your lifehours, not shekels, drachmas, dollars, marks or euros. There are many needed, practical benefits to establishing Timism's lifehours as a functional currency. It will reduce Wall Street theft of middle-class sweat. It will provide the basis for political boundaries as well as trade to prevent national plantations enslaving the many for the few at the top. When millions have billions in lifehour shares, we will have a new, needed functional currency. |
