Economics 101
-
RVA is a zero-sum economy: Areas cannot be politically over-privileged w/o
de-privileging others.
-
Tax-funded projects cause depressed areas: Downtown, JD, Midlo,
SS Plaza, Willow Lawn, Stoney Pt.
-
Politicians littered RVA with failures: 6th St Marketplace, Canal Walk, Main
St. Station, etc.
-
New Jobs? Fooey, jobs shift. (We need
24in4: Share job time or jobless
crime.)
-
Navy Hell will cause more crime as less money for social programs and education.
-
Richmond loses middle-class workers without drawing these expats for downtown
spending in part from unnecessary high city taxes.
-
Will Richmond ever be a tourist magnet beyond Civil War detritus? No.
-
Funded by corporate myops, dreamy-eyed politicians play a broken record of
gaudy symbols without sustainable substance.

Climate Hell: Cancers, Criminals & Lemmings
-
Concrete is the #2 cause of climate change. Construction accelerates the
global
holocaust of greenhouse gases that will kill billions whereas the Nazi
Holocaust killed ten million.
-
Climate cancers motivate climate lemmings to drive CO2-belching cars to watch
players. Bigger stadiums mean bigger CO2-sinning against an increasingly
angry Mama Nature.
-
Someday, climate cancer events will be useless, banned by law, thus, a new
stadium will be as useless as the old stadium or as Auschwitz.
-
The main reason for NO Navy Hell--beyond another tax blackhole, aka,
white elephant--is the
Primary
Moral Imperative of saving life on Planet Earth from climate hell. (If
you want to understand climate change so as to prepare for the worser than
worst, read Carbon
Dioxide: The Global, Multi-Tasking Killer Molecule.
-
Richmond City Council voted down a taxpayers' referendum on the Navy Hill
project. Thus, taxpayers must recall councilmembers so as to elect more
responsible adults who will vote NO on Navy Hell. Say no to
the Navy Hellions.
Virginia
law provides for recall of all elected and appointed officials as
well as citizen initiated referendums. We will do both. Petitions have been
created for the reader.
