The daily preface to all life-altering decision-making should be the Primary Moral Imperative of saving life on Planet Earth from Climate Hell. If we don't save our planet then the lesser reasons for our daily choices will not matter: family, home, cars and savings. The media should remind viewers of this priority during each news broadcast. It doesn't.
Climate hell has accelerated because of an atmospheric CO2 closed loop:
more CO2 ... means more droughts ... means more forest fires ... means more CO2 ad infinitum.
This closed loop is an Extinction Level Event (E.L.E) that will kill most living creatures. The loop is based on Hydrophilia, "The simple, molecular 'smoking gun' of more droughts, fires and deluges." The media needs to prioritize educating viewers. Or, else, lose their broadcast license.
Since 2018, numerous emails detailing hydrophilia have been sent to media and academia as well as government agencies. Googling "hydrophilia Timism" yields nothing (as of June 18, 2025). Because of its E.L.E. implication, public awareness of CO2's hydrophilic closed loop deserves immediate and full broadcasting of the closed loop. A Covid response which killed 7 million people would be a tepid response. A Manhattan Project is needed to save billions of lives.

Fully understanding hydrophlia's closed loop is the CO2 cost of humanity to Mother Nature. The generation of carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels can be divided into two activities:
Less than 10% of human work is for the necessities of life. This means that at least 90% of humans are speeding up climate hell. This fact is a major impediment to reducing the generation of life-killing CO2. Individuals and nations will not want to give up their CO2-dependent high living and greater freedom. Who decides the sacrifices to save our lives? Timism offers people plebiscites. Habitual politicians will continue to sell freedom (a.k.a, advantages and privileges) to the highest campaign donors.
Climate Hell is due to climate cancers, climate criminals and climate lemmings. The latter are moronic, naieve, igknowant and/or hypocritical CO2 sinners. Climate criminals organize the lemmings into group CO2-sinning. CO2-sinning is defined as generating CO2 for our wants, play and lies. Climate cancers are institutional activity at the highest level that encourage national or global CO2-sinning. On a sinking ship, preaching igknowance is genocide, cheerleading play is homicide and apathy is suicide.
The Nazi Holocaust killed millions with the gas Zyklon B. The Global Holocaust of petrophiliacs will kill billions with the gas Carbon Dioxide. Nuremberg trials are justified for the climate cancers and climate criminals.The climate cancers are not only decision-makers in the fossil-fuel industries but, also, are the top gatekeepers in mass communications. They fail to prioritize climate hell in their broadcasts. The simple reason is greed: 90% of TV advertisers are fossil-fuel related: energy, cars, insurance, litigation and auto-repairs.

A primary action to slow the hydrophilic closed loop is to reduce the paid workweek. People will have less disposable CO2-sinning buying power beyond the cost of living. Economically and socially, we either share job time or share jobless crime. Environmentally, we either share job time or share refugee time.
